About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Mount Stuart Hospital. As a key member of our anaesthetic department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our anaesthetic services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality anaesthetic care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive anaesthetic services, including pre-operative assessment, anaesthesia, and post-operative care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of anaesthetic protocols and guidelines, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care, including communication with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and inclusion on the Specialist Register.
  • UK experience at a Consultant level, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
