Job Opportunity: AMHP Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join our team at Powys Council. As an AMHP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals facing mental health crises, conducting assessments under the Mental Health Act, and collaborating with healthcare providers and families to ensure individuals receive the appropriate care and support they need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments under the Mental Health Act

Requirements:
  • AMHP Qualification
  • Significant experience working as an AMHP
  • Registered with Social Care Wales
