Site Engineer Opportunity

VGC is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team on a highways project in Exeter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting out using relevant equipment and software
  • Conducting as-built surveys to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Implementing QA processes to maintain high standards
  • Developing and managing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control procedures
  • Collaborating with sub-contractors and direct labour teams to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working on highways projects, with a strong focus on setting out and quality control
  • Proven track record as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer, with a deep understanding of civil engineering principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • CSCS card and full driving license required
  • Degree-educated in a civil engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
