Band 7 Sonographer Opportunity

Hunter AHP is seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Sonographer to join their team on a full-time locum basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services, including obstetric ultrasound, and will have experience in general ultrasound imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including obstetric ultrasound, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound imaging techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration is mandatory for this role.
  • Experience in general ultrasound imaging, including obstetric ultrasound, is essential.
  • Desirable skills include experience in ultrasound imaging in other fields, such as testes, groins, pregnancy, and vascular procedures.
