Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager - Projects

Location: Commutable distance to Winchester

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at Arqiva. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to our commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Own the consolidation of budgets, mid-year and monthly forecasts, and long-term plans, including reconciliation and checkpoints across the team, while ensuring all deadlines are achieved.
  2. Produce clear and targeted packs for shareholders and the executive committee, presenting clear information that allows business issues and assumptions to be understood, enabling decision-making.
  3. Attend and support monthly Exco finance sessions.
  4. Drive budget/forecast process improvements across the team, including cash reporting.
  5. Update and support product profitability analysis.
  6. Manage the bid submission process on behalf of the FD.
  7. Support the month-end process, including consolidated commentary and variance analysis by product to the latest forecast.
  8. Undertake projects and ad-hoc activity as requested.
  9. Provide ad-hoc analysis on financial matters in support of the Director of Commercial Finance & Operations.
  10. Build and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders (FP&S, Exco, Group Finance).
Requirements:
  1. Comprehensive experience of analysing and explaining data to non-finance colleagues.
  2. Understanding of key cost, revenue, and cash drivers together with risk and opportunity areas.
  3. Experience of working as a business partner into Exec Director level.
  4. Oracle, Qlik Sense, and EPM experience desirable.
  5. Qualified accountant or similar finance degree.
