Scientist I Job Description

Skills Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Scientist I to join our team in the development of next-generation, programmed T cell therapies for the treatment of cancer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support high-quality protocol development, study execution, and data interpretation.
  • Partner with clinicians and clinical operations teams to apply technical and scientific excellence to support clinical trial development and execution.
  • Review patient-level and cumulative data, electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs), and non-CRF data types.
  • Ensure TMF compliance for clinical sciences study-level TMF documents.
  • Develop medical/protocol training for Site Initiation Visits and Investigator Meetings.
  • Identify scientific quality issues and escalate protocol-related issues requiring complex medical expertise.
  • Provide scientific input to and review of Clinical Study Reports (CSRs).
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience as a Clinical Scientist within the pharmaceutical industry or academia.
  • Significant knowledge of basic and clinical cancer research and its application to cancer drug development.
  • Working knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Experience in the field of oncology drug development, preferably in Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) and B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL).
  • Proven scientific writing skills and strong inter-personal, written/verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the field of CAR T drug development.
  • Experience in execution of clinical trials, including data review and investigative site relations.
  • Significant experience in development and implementation of clinical research protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a high-performing and energetic individual who demonstrates outstanding scientific knowledge and the highest personal and ethical standards.
