Passive Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Passive Safety Engineer to join our team. As a Passive Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the automotive crash passive safety performance of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to improve automotive crash safety performance.
- Plan and conduct CAE and physical tests to evaluate vehicle safety.
- Liaise with global teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Attend regular project meetings and provide key updates to the department.
- Prioritize and complete tasks efficiently, with a proactive approach to work.
- Travel to Spain or France for physical crash tests, as required.
- Verify that vehicle designs meet crash performance requirements and provide feedback to design teams.
- Coordinate test requests and support the conduct of tests.
- Analyze CAE and test results, creating detailed reports.
- Prepare meeting minutes and develop process improvement tools.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics.
- Knowledge of biomechanics and HV vehicle architecture is advantageous.
- Experience in CAE within automotive engineering is a plus.
- Background in automotive passive safety testing or restraint system development.
- Understanding of vehicle passive safety design concepts.
- Experience interpreting and executing Regulation and consumer-based passive safety crash tests.
- Familiarity with automotive simulation and analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel within Europe and hold a valid UK/European driving license.
- Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
- £29.00 per hour.
