Key Responsibilities- Conduct investigative activities, including statement taking, securing and reviewing CCTV, suspect interviewing, and file building.
- Support the investigation of serious and complex crimes, working closely with current investigators and action teams.
- Travel to various locations to conduct investigations and gather evidence.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure effective case management and resolution.
- Proven experience in an investigatory role, ideally with a working knowledge of criminal law and criminal justice procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and seek advice when needed.
- Ability to develop and maintain resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
