Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Hazel Cottage School, part of Options Autism. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school facilities, providing a safe and supportive environment for our pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair school facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures to minimize hazards
- Manage and maintain school vehicles and equipment
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair work
- Develop and implement facilities management plans to ensure efficient use of resources
- Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to identify and address facilities-related issues
- Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
- Experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
