This is a senior-level position within the Treasury department, responsible for overseeing the administration of the company's payment and payment monitoring processes. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Treasury banking operations and services, with a focus on systems and a deep understanding of Treasury transformation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Payment Operations Management: Supervise daily banking operations, including payments processing, deposits, fund transfers, and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and international standards, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and identify and mitigate operational risks related to banking activities.
- Treasury Digital Transformation: Evaluate and improve payment processes, aligning with Treasury digital transformation initiatives, such as Cash Pooling and aggregated payments processing.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with banking partners to streamline processes, address issues, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on Treasury operations performance and key metrics to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Master Data Management: Maintain a comprehensive banking master database for all group bank accounts.
- Internal Collaboration: Assist internal departments and the group with new product development implementations and general Treasury/banking services inquiries.
- Banking Agreements: Develop, review, and negotiate bank account openings with financial institutions for the group, as well as banking agreements, including ISDA master agreements, SLAs, and MACUG agreements.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Education: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Professional Certifications: CFA, CPA, and CTP.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Finance and treasury software and systems, with a strong understanding of SAP and SWIFT messaging standards, as well as electronic banking platforms.
- Experience: 12-15 years of experience in backend corporate Treasury operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the Oil & Gas sector, with a focus on Treasury operations, preferred.
- Shariah Compliance: Knowledge of Shariah Compliant Business Banking.
- Digital Transformation: Familiarity with digital transformation in banking and corporate Treasury.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to coach staff in developing analytical skills and managing project delivery.
- Communication Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and excellent presentation skills.
