About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Pipe Fitter and Welder to join our team at Systems adi Group Ltd.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out pipe fitting and fabrication tasks, including small amounts of mechanical fitting and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out pipe fitting and welding tasks to ensure high-quality results.
  • Performing mechanical fitting and maintenance work to support the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Fabricating parts from drawings or templates to meet specific project requirements.
  • Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) and pressure testing on completed works to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Unloading deliveries and storing them in their correct locations to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Preparing parts for welding to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication.
  • Providing assistance to the site team as needed to support the achievement of project goals.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Completion of a recognized qualification or time-served trade apprenticeship in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a similar role within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Welding and fabrication experience, with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and competency in Tig/Mig/Arc welding.
  • Experience in fabrication work, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of health and safety protocols and procedures.
