Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing contractor support, working on pre/post contracts up to final accounts for a range of main contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out estimating services, including BQ production
  • Provide the lead on commercial and financial advice
  • Maximise value recovery, cost control, and cash management on projects worked on
  • Commercially manage and control SC packages on projects worked on
  • Assist in the protection of the Company's contractual position on projects worked on
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of industry experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Contractor or PQS firm
  • A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or similar
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build good working relationships
