Salary: Main Pay Scale (£34,514 £51,179) plus SEN 1 (£2,539)

Job Summary

Clarus Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated KS3 Teacher to lead our Year 7 class at our secondary special school in the London Borough of Hillingdon. Our school caters to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach KS3 curriculum to students with varying abilities and needs
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Assess and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
• Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified and experienced KS3 Teacher who can demonstrate a passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting students with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• Experience teaching KS3 curriculum in a special school setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and special educational needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
