About the Role: Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a reputable secondary educational institution to find a qualified Educational Support Specialist. This position involves working closely with a Year 13 student who requires assistance due to a physical disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to an 18-year-old A Level student who utilizes a wheelchair.
  • Assist in daily planning to ensure the student’s comfort and academic success.
  • Communicate effectively with educators and support staff to facilitate the student’s educational access.
  • Potential for ongoing support beyond secondary education.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Male candidates with experience as a Personal Assistant for adults are preferred.
  • Proven experience in supporting individuals with physical disabilities and related medical conditions.
  • Confidence in administering first aid and a basic understanding of diabetes management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and organization.
  • Professional demeanor and reliability.
