Gregory Distribution is seeking a dedicated and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operation, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our bakery products reach retail outlets, wholesale stores, and convenience shops across the South of England.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, contributing to the success of a leading distribution company.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Delivering bakery products from our Southampton depot to various customer locations.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Providing excellent customer service by interacting with clients at delivery points and managing their expectations.
  • Maintaining a flexible approach, adapting to early starts, tail-lift operation, and the manual handling of bread deliveries.
  • Participating in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid UK Class 2 (C) Driving Licence.
  • Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Good geographical knowledge of the South of England.
  • A physically fit and motivated individual with a willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment.
