We are seeking a skilled Field-Based Gas Technician with a background in HVAC and commercial systems to collaborate with various clients, performing essential maintenance and repair services as per contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete necessary documentation and reports.
  • Ensure all statutory and mandatory tasks are executed within designated timelines, with all certifications accurately completed and any required remedial actions clearly outlined.
  • As a Gas Technician, you will also be responsible for addressing reactive and emergency tasks, utilizing handheld technology effectively to complete all assignments.
  • Proactively identify additional opportunities for work on-site and gather necessary information for quotations.
  • Oversee visiting subcontractors to ensure compliance with work standards and Health and Safety regulations, issuing appropriate permits and managing small works and escort duties as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Hold COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1) certification.
  • Possess TPCP1 & TPCP1A qualifications.
  • Essential knowledge of Vented & Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work procedures, and safe working systems.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces, along with a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented, capable of working independently while also thriving in a team environment.
  • Valid Full Driving Licence.
