Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Recruit Mint. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to oversee maintenance projects and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and budget requirements.
- Investigate and troubleshoot equipment failures, identifying solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Manage and document maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and work order history.
- Respond promptly to machine breakdowns, ensuring timely repairs and minimizing disruption to production.
- Perform PLC repairs and updates, ensuring equipment meets operational requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment, with the ability to strip and reassemble machinery.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a relevant engineering qualification, such as an ONC/OND/HNC or an Electrical qualification - 18th edition.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical and analytical approach to troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of current environmental and health and safety regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with advances in technology, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
