ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Hygiene Team Leader, you will report directly to the Hygiene Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the Hygiene department operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the Hygiene team and adhering to established cleaning protocols.
  • Utilizing cleaning agents responsibly to minimize waste.
  • Ensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Planning and overseeing deep cleaning schedules, ensuring they are executed and documented.
  • Implementing Health & Safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Training Hygiene Operatives to perform their tasks safely and effectively.
  • Onboarding new staff members on cleaning techniques and chemical safety.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust skill set and a solid background in the food sector, particularly in hygiene management. Experience in leading or supervising a team within the food industry is essential, along with a thorough understanding of Food and Hygiene policies.
