Position Overview:
The Revenues and Benefits Systems Specialist will play a crucial role in the management and enhancement of the Council's Revenues and Benefits Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert support for the Academy system utilized by the Council.
2. Collaborate with the Academy Systems Manager to deliver a high-standard service that ensures compliance with statutory and legal obligations.
3. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Academy system's functionalities to offer informed guidance to the Systems Manager.
4. Ensure timely management of regular information updates and generate reports aligned with business requirements.
5. Uphold and support the Academy System to ensure it meets the quality standards expected by the Council.
6. Draft and revise procedural documentation as necessary.
7. Assist in the preparation of statutory returns and liaise with the Council's External Auditor effectively.
8. Support the testing of new system releases and address day-to-day operational issues.
9. Provide insights to other Council teams regarding Academy functionalities, reporting, and system upgrades.
10. Generate ad hoc reports and implement system updates and modifications.
11. Collaborate with colleagues to optimize the use and capabilities of the system.
