Job Title: History Lecturer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced History Lecturer to join our team at a college in Nuneaton. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching A Level History to post-16 students, preparing engaging lessons, and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality A-level History lessons to students
  • Prepare and develop lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the educational experience
Requirements:
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, certificate of education, etc.)
  • Level 3 or above qualification in History or a related subject
  • Experience teaching History at A Level
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to engage and inspire students
  • Commitment to professional development and learning
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for another one through Reed
