Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Public Health Nurse to join our team in Tunbridge Wells District. As a key member of our health visiting team, you will work with children and families in Paddock Wood, providing support and guidance to promote healthy outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to antenatal and postnatal care programs, ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and babies.
  • Complete mandated reviews, packages of care, and safeguarding assessments, utilizing evidence-based practice to inform decision-making.
  • Undertake a range of clinical and non-clinical interventions to support families, promoting positive outcomes and addressing health inequalities.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver the Health Child Programme, aligning with national and local strategies and guidelines.

Requirements
  • Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant professional body (NMC) and higher education modules in Early Intervention in Public Health, Child Development, and Assessment.
  • Experience in community or acute healthcare, with the ability to demonstrate clinically effective practice with children and families.
  • Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS, with knowledge of up-to-date clinical practice.
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to self-manage within a team environment and use own initiative.
  • Ability to motivate and organize others to ensure best practice, with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
