About the Role
The Australian Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering & Fleet Lead to join the Capability Acquisition Sustainment Group (CASG) as part of the Airborne Surveillance Control and Intelligence Systems Program Office (ASCISPO).
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the Engineering Management System for the MC-55A Peregrine Enterprise, ensuring compliance with Defence Aviation Safety Authority and Airworthiness Regulations.
- Lead a team of junior engineers in the development and implementation of systems engineering concepts, including requirements management and elicitation.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including Defence personnel and contractors, to achieve enterprise outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring the development of their skills and expertise.

What We Offer
The Australian Government offers a competitive remuneration package, including a generous superannuation contribution of 15.4%. Defence provides relocation assistance to eligible APS employees required to relocate, with varying levels of assistance depending on the reason for relocating and personal circumstances.
Requirements
- Proven experience in systems engineering, including requirements management and elicitation.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of junior engineers.
- Strong technical knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Authority and Airworthiness Regulations.
