\tGood understanding of GMP and GLP
\tKnowledge of analytical chemistry and its practical application

\tWorking knowledge of other analytical instrumentation, preferably GC, MS, UPLC, and UV
\tUnderstanding basic statistics is desirable
\tComputer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
\tStrong verbal and numerical aptitude skills
