We are seeking a skilled Class 1 HGV Driver for a prominent client in the logistics sector. This ongoing position is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to contribute to a global distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle
- Efficiently plan and navigate routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation and logbooks
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Uphold the company's standards and represent the organization professionally
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
- Possession of a Full UK Driving Licence with C+E, along with a Full CPC and DIGI Tacho card
- No DD, DR, or IN convictions on your driving record
Essential Skills:
- Valid driver's license suitable for operating Class 1 vehicles
- Demonstrated experience as a delivery driver, particularly with HGVs
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Proficient in using GPS or maps for navigation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions
