Gordon Murray Group is a leading luxury automotive brand dedicated to creating exceptional driving experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Security Domain Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- System Development and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate safety and security systems into our vehicles.
- Requirements Management: Develop and maintain requirements specifications, timing plans, and validation requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- System Calibration and Validation: Lead system review, verification, and validation activities, including FMEAs, test planning, and functionality tests.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with functional safety, legislative, electrical, environmental, and EMC requirements.
- Supplier Management: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of safety and security systems.
- Training and Support: Provide support and training to manufacturing and service departments.
- Proven Track Record: Experience in safety and security systems development, engineering, or calibration within an automotive engineering environment.
- Technical Expertise: Working knowledge of ADAS standards, ISO26262, and EuroNCAP.
- Electrical Architecture: Demonstrable understanding of electrical architectures and underlying network and diagnostic technologies.
- Network and Diagnostic Technologies: Working knowledge of CAN, FlexRay, automotive ethernet, and LIN networks.
- System Delivery: Experience of system/component delivery within an APQP, six sigma, or similar framework.
- Education and Qualifications: Possession of an Electronics, Control Systems, Automotive, or similar honours engineering degree.
- Personal Qualities: Articulate, self-motivated, and able to work well on own initiative.
