About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Care Trainer to join our team at HIT Training. As an Adult Care Trainer, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of adult care by training and mentoring adult care apprentices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for adult care apprentices, focusing on care expertise and professional development.
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching to apprentices, helping them to achieve their qualifications and become confident professionals.
  • Collaborate with care home employers to provide feedback on apprentice progress and development, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
  • Design and deliver online training sessions, utilizing technology to enhance the learning experience.
  • Conduct face-to-face visits to care settings, providing support and guidance to apprentices and employers.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Senior Care Worker, Deputy Care Manager, or Care Manager, with a strong background in adult care.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Adult Care (or similar), with a passion for sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Strong technology skills, with the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the region.
  • A willingness to work towards Level 2 (GCSE) qualifications in English and maths, with support provided to help you achieve them.
