Job Title: CNC Machinist

Corin is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Instrument Refurbishment team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machining centers to produce high-precision metal components
  • Conduct inspections of small, batched components to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Use machining tools to make changes to small batches of metal components
  • Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the workshop
  • Set and operate 3 and 5-axis machinery for the production of small batches of metal components
  • Programme editing of N-Y / Fanuc programmes
  • Follow work instructions and SOPs to the highest standards
  • Complete quality documentation and follow ISO procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience with CNC machining – Mills and Lathes – 3 and 5 Axis machinery, NY, Fanuc Programmes
  • Manual lathe operating
  • CNC wire eroding
  • Tool making
  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Working with metals such as Stainless steel, cobalt chrome and Titanium
  • Using gauges and measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with quality being paramount
