Electro-Mechanical Assembly Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to fabricate Electro-Mechanical Assemblies in accordance with specified design documents.

We seek a dedicated and proactive Electro-Mechanical Assembly Specialist who will engage in a diverse range of activities within the Production Division.

The specialist will be accountable for the production and testing of various products while aiding in the establishment of processes and tools to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute various assembly tasks by following detailed schematics and adhering to established assembly protocols, including industry standards.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, addressing challenges as they arise, and communicate with Engineering for solutions.
  • Support prototype development and initial assembly activities, preparing products for mass production.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools for both mechanical and electrical tasks.
  • Assist in the adoption of lean manufacturing principles and support audits as necessary.
  • Follow control processes to ensure product conformity.
  • Complete documentation in line with quality and contractual standards, ensuring traceability of materials, tools, and products.
  • Report failures and suggest process enhancements to the Team Leader.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • Comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.
  • Certification in relevant standards will be provided to qualified candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in building prototype units and initial production runs.
  • Skilled in soldering, crimping, wiring, and electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and web applications.
  • Understanding of the importance of production control documentation and traceability.
  • Driven by a commitment to continuous improvement through process optimization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with a methodical approach.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines while collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality products on schedule and within budget.
  • Flexible and capable of adapting to various tasks as directed throughout the workday.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
