A prominent Export firm is looking for a skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join a small, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive, unpack, and verify incoming goods in the warehouse.
2. Pack or repackage items into export cartons.
3. Coordinate the dispatch of goods to the port, ensuring all necessary paperwork is attached and that items are correctly marked with shipping identifiers.
4. Review purchase orders and order confirmations from factories against documentation.
5. Communicate with factories and clients to facilitate the seamless execution of export orders.
6. Verify supplier invoices and maintain organized filing systems.
7. Input order acknowledgments into the system.
8. Review proforma invoices for advance payments to suppliers and forward them to the accounts department for processing.
9. Arrange for the collection of goods from factories or coordinate with freight forwarders.
10. Prepare export shipping invoices and packing lists, and gather all other required shipping documents, such as certificates of origin or bills of lading.
11. Manage shipping documents and liaise with insurance companies as necessary for claims.
12. Interact with international agents, customers, and suppliers via phone and email to ensure efficient order processing.
13. Prepare appropriate documentation for letters of credit.
14. Organize and prepare all letters and parcels for mailing and coordinate courier dispatch.
15. Conduct meetings with various suppliers and customers as needed, including potential visits to UK companies during working hours.

Previous Experience:
At least 2 years in a comparable Shipping or Logistics role.
Demonstrated attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
