Solutions Engineering Recruitment is a globally renowned integrator of high-end sound systems and digital signage, specialising in the retail, leisure, and hospitality sectors.

Job Purpose Summary:

The AV Installation Specialist will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining high-end audio-visual systems for retail, leisure, and hospitality clients primarily in the North West regions of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and as part of a small team to carry out installation and service works
  • Provide guidance and training to Junior Engineers
  • Act as the point of contact on site for any client update requests or queries
  • Maintain contact with the operations team regarding any progress or issues on site
  • Assemble AV racks, ensuring all cabling is labelled and organised neatly
  • Lead and train Junior Engineers when required
  • Provide client training on how to use installed systems
  • Ensure accurate completion of project paperwork
  • Willingness to work away from home when required
  • Maintain a safe and tidy workspace
  • Adhere to health and safety policies

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous experience as an AV Installation Engineer or similar
  • Strong knowledge of audio systems
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to work away from home on occasion

Certifications:

  • ECS, IPAF, or PASMA certificates
  • QSC or Dante certifications
