We are seeking a talented and motivated Hardware & Digital Design Engineer to join our 'Futures' Business Unit in Romsey. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing innovative electronics solutions for a diverse range of clients across sectors such as aerospace, energy, and the public sector.

Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing sensing systems, encompassing both analog and digital electronics. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that your designs seamlessly integrate into larger systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to define and refine sensor system specifications.
  • Design and develop innovative analog and digital electronic circuits for sensing applications.
  • Conduct thorough circuit analysis and simulations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design issues, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and methodologies within the sensing domain.
About You:

You are a highly skilled engineer with a proven track record in designing sensing systems. You possess a strong understanding of analog and digital electronics principles, circuit analysis techniques, and design software tools. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team, coupled with your excellent communication skills, will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.
