About the Role

Horizon Care and Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Dudley Port School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of our students, who have a range of complex learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students in their educational and social development, providing individualized support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences, adapting activities to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Support students in and out of the classroom, facilitating their engagement in a wide range of activities and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of personalized learning plans, working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in education and support.
