About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager/Projects Manager to join our team at a well-established business in the FMCG sector. As the main point of contact on site, you will be responsible for quoting and delivering mechanical installation projects across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders to plan and manage mechanical projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions to production.
  • Organise labour, order materials, and manage projects.
  • Generate costings/quotations for all onsite mechanical activities.
  • Oversee the installation of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of mechanical fitters and fabricators.
  • Manage the department's budget and financial performance.
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained in a mechanical discipline.
  • Experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, and project management within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record of managing mechanical projects and leading teams.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Excellent project management skills.
