Due to an increase in operational demands, we are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to support our transport division. The primary objective of this position is to assist in streamlining the logistics processes and improve overall business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential support to the logistics team to optimize internal workflows.
- Assist the finance division with the management of deliveries and collections while ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills in administrative tasks.
- Operate the weighbridge effectively.
- Handle inquiries and oversee job sign-offs.
It is crucial to ensure that all necessary documentation is gathered before initiating any transport activities and that all paperwork is retrieved at the conclusion of each shift.
Additional Duties:
- Manage telephone inquiries and direct them to the relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate records of materials.
- Process payments as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- A solid background in logistics and transport systems.
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturday shifts based on business needs.
- Proficient administrative skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
