Maths Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maths Tutor to join our team at Barnardo's. As a Maths Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering Maths Functional skills and GCSE to young people aged 14-24 and apprentices.

• Develop and ensure quality delivery of all Maths qualifications on all learning programmes that enable young people to achieve and progress into a positive destination.
• Ensure the highest possible standard of service delivery through the maintenance and monitoring of individualised learning programmes.
• Meet the highest possible standard of service delivery required following OFSTED guidelines through the development, maintenance and monitoring of tailored training programmes.
• Undertake a robust assessment to identify young people's needs, appropriate levels and record progress of achieved towards their goals.
• Offer relevant and appropriate Maths learning to young people with a range of learning needs, in order to increase their confidence and employability.
• Offer appropriate support and learning in Maths to all learners to enable them to succeed in a vocational setting, achieve their learning aim and progress positively in their chosen career.
