Position Overview: Right Now Recruitment is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to support our logistics operations. This role offers a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately locating and organizing cargo within the warehouse storage systems.
  • Efficiently loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure packaging.
  • Identifying and documenting any discrepancies in cargo, promptly reporting to the Depot or Operations Manager.
  • Maintaining accurate records for incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Utilizing company equipment safely and effectively.
  • Conducting safety checks on forklifts, including tyres, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
  • Reporting any safety or security concerns within the warehouse environment.
  • Keeping the warehouse area clean and organized.
  • Performing general warehouse tasks as required.

Work Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday, from 18:00 to 04:00.

Compensation: Temporary position at £12.00 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • 2 years of experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
  • Possession of a valid counterbalance forklift license.
  • A clean DBS record.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • 5 years of verifiable work history.
