Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Modeller to join our team at esure Group. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in enhancing our Financial Planning and Forecasting model, leveraging your expertise in Anaplan and data analysis to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning and Forecasting Leadership: Collaborate with the Head of FP&A and Commercial team to develop and maintain a high-quality Financial Planning and Forecasting model, ensuring it meets the needs of the business and regulatory requirements.
  2. Forecasting Enhancements: Identify and prioritize forecasting enhancements to meet business needs, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective implementation.
  3. Business Partnership: Collaborate with Business teams to ensure financial models are aligned with business assumptions, providing expert advice and guidance to drive informed decision-making.
  4. Forecasting Process Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the forecasting process, from data sources to P&L, balance sheet, and solvency outputs, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting.
  5. Risk Mitigation: Support the Finance Team to mitigate risks from single points of failure, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
Requirements
  1. Qualified accountant with insurance/financial services experience.
  2. Extensive Anaplan financial modelling experience; Tableau and Databricks experience beneficial.
  3. Proficiency in data structuring.
