Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in Newbury. As a key member of our Senior Management team, you will be responsible for leading audit assignments from planning to completion, working closely with senior team members to ensure high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of audit assignments, overseeing onsite audit fieldwork to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
- Manage audit assignments in accordance with firm processes and client expectations, including costs and billing arrangements.
- Review statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, and returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare reports for client meetings, presenting findings and recommendations.
- Support junior staff by reviewing work and sharing knowledge to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Liaise directly with clients, building strong relationships and proactively addressing queries and concerns.
- Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines, promoting services to existing and prospective clients.
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge through further learning opportunities and professional development.

- Self-motivated and reliable, with a strong work ethic and time management skills
