Job Description

As a seasoned Project Manager at Sage, you will be responsible for delivering complex and high-profile projects and programs that drive business growth and customer success. You will work closely with business colleagues across all regions to ensure seamless execution and successful project completion. Your expertise in project management will be instrumental in driving large-scale projects to successful execution, and you will be responsible for initiating, setting direction, creating plans, and defining and managing resources to ensure project success. You will provide advice and counsel related to the successful delivery of assigned projects, and you will thrive in tools such as project plans, Gantt charts, and progress trackers.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate day-to-day activities and milestones associated with running a portfolio of projects

• Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the project schedule and key milestones. Communicate in a professional, courteous, and timely manner with all stakeholders

• Own project planning tool, including selection of system, creation of project plan, consistent updates, and creating visibility to all key stakeholders

• Assess creation and signoff of project plan and charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log

• Ensure project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents

• Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case cost-benefit analysis is in line with business objectives

• Escalate risks to the appropriate stakeholders, offering solutions to ensure project delivers to scope, on time, and under budget

• Create the program risk management plan

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing project delivery in a commercial environment

• Expert knowledge of project management tools and skills required to update and manage a project plan successfully

• Developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince stakeholders in a respectful and courteous manner

• Change management mindset with a sense of urgency to serve as the momentum for all projects

• Execution capabilities as it relates to managing time, multiple projects, and risk profiles effectively

• Process-oriented with comfort using systems to track and report on customer activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SaaS organizations

• Comfort operating in ambiguous, often rapidly changing environments
