As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a first-class program of engagement with current and prospective owners of Wise. Your mission will be to increase the understanding and conviction in our mission among retail and institutional owners.

You will lead the conversation with analysts and investors to nurture sound understanding and support of our mission. You will work with other senior leaders to shape the story of Wise, underpinning this with relevant key messages, and disclosure of strategic, operational and financial information.

You will be responsible for designing and producing effective publications and presentations for periodic reporting to the market. You will also lead the production of the Annual Report and develop the Investor Relations website to keep it current and informative for investors and other stakeholders.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with the sell-side analyst community, actively managing expectations to ensure that the market consensus remains relevant relative to performance and guidance.

You will undertake a program of investor engagement from proactive targeting of investors to executing a schedule of meetings via Zoom or in person.

You will provide oversight of our US ADR program and other relevant projects that arise.

You will keep abreast of ESG reporting and incorporate best practice into overall company narrative.

You will explain share price movements to senior management as required.

You will manage relationships with the corporate brokers of Wise, involving them early and effectively in discussions related to Wise's ownership and status as a listed company.

You will develop the Investor Relations team in line with our values.

You will lead for a Senior Manager; also coaching and developing other members of the finance function.

Requirements
  • You have prior experience working in Investor Relations, from a corporate or as an equity analyst at a top-tier bank, and deeply understand investors and capital markets.
  • You are a leader both in leading people, and leading the creation of a compelling narrative.
  • You are a strong storyteller. You can communicate insights in a clear and structured manner both orally and in writing and have experience communicating and sharing your work with senior stakeholders.
  • You have excellent financial modelling skills.
  • You have experience managing time-critical processes across multiple stakeholders and a track record of delivering on time.
  • You've worked with minimal direction before and can take complex, fuzzy problems and boil them down into simple solutions.
