About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sub-Agent to join our team at Kier Group. As a Sub-Agent, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Agent in managing a significant section of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Agent in managing a significant section of the project, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, on time, and to the required quality.
  • Manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with Kier and Network Rail standards.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to these policies.
  • Support the Site Agent with cost management of the project, ensuring that all costs are accurately forecasted and controlled.
  • Develop and implement a programme to plan and measure the weekly/monthly lookahead, ensuring that all team members are aware of and working towards the project goals.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of main management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably from a Utilities or comparable settings.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive approach to work, and an enthusiastic, collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to deliver and commercial/Contractual awareness.
  • Working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the ICE and hold relevant qualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience.
