About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team at Pro Talent. As a key member of our audit team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing audit engagements for a variety of clients across different industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and Manage Audit Engagements: Oversee the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing valuable insights to clients.
  2. Conduct Risk Assessments: Develop audit plans tailored to each client's needs, identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.
  3. Review and Analyze Financial Statements: Ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting principles and regulations, providing expert guidance to clients.
  4. Collaborate with Clients: Understand their business operations and provide guidance on financial matters, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  5. Supervise and Mentor Junior Staff: Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to junior audit staff, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
  6. Identify Process Improvements: Implement best practices in audit procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Maintain knowledge of industry regulations, accounting standards, and auditing techniques, applying this expertise to client engagements.
  8. Prepare Comprehensive Audit Reports: Highlight findings, recommendations, and solutions, providing clients with actionable insights.
  9. Foster Strong Client Relationships: Effectively communicate audit results and address client concerns, building trust and loyalty.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in audit within a public accounting firm.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  5. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  6. Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
