**Job Summary**

Arriva Durham County Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced PSV Chargehand to join our team at our Darlington Depot. As a PSV Chargehand, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and maintenance of our vehicles to meet Arriva's high standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
  • Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
  • MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks
  • Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)

**Requirements**

  • Level 3 NVQ/IRTEC Qualification (Or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of PSV or HGV maintenance
  • Knowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation
  • Inspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance - Desirable but not essential
  • Electrical circuits and systems knowledge - Desirable but not essential
  • A full UK driving licence (6 points or less) - essential
  • Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical - essential
