Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Specialist Doctor to join our team in the Older People's Medicine Directorate at NHS Scotland.

About the Role: As a Specialist Doctor, you will work with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in the Older People's Medicine unit at Biggart Hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing in-patient and out-patient care to patients with complex medical needs
  • Contributing to the development of new and innovative care pathways
  • Working with our partners to ensure patients receive the most appropriate care
  • Carrying out interdisciplinary assessments to support treatment and supported discharges

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in geriatric medicine and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
