Civil Engineering Coordinator

NMS Recruit is on the lookout for a skilled Civil Engineering Coordinator to join a dynamic Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the North West.
This role is office-based and focuses on ensuring the efficient execution of civil engineering tasks, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
With a customer-centric approach, you will cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to meet demanding timelines and navigate complex challenges to guarantee timely circuit handovers.
As a vital team member, you will consistently seek opportunities for improvement and efficiency, always prioritizing the customer experience.
You will keep clients and partners informed about order statuses, paying close attention to delivery schedules and promptly addressing any potential issues that could affect delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee a backlog of connection installations pending civil works
- Manage network expansions requiring civil or PIA modifications
- Supervise contractors to ensure adherence to processes and PIA compliance, including tracking SPO evidence
- Facilitate customer connections while coordinating civil works and contractor solutions, such as civil avoidance or rerouting
- Control costs effectively
- Maintain data tracking
- Provide regular updates to customers and partners regarding progress
- Actively check permits using Street Manager
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues to minimize customer impact
- Collaborate with the team to foster a positive work environment and build strong interdepartmental relationships
Essential Qualifications
- Familiarity with GPON telecom networks
- Experience in a customer service role
- Knowledge of PIA processes
- Background in civil administration
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven and motivated to achieve service goals and targets
- Detail-oriented and enthusiastic
- Capable of effective interaction with management, technical teams, and clients
- Flexible and able to manage a diverse workload
- Team-oriented
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with GIS systems
- Familiarity with the Street Manager portal
