Mechanical Engineering Project Coordinator – Environmental Sector

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute projects within the water management sector.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments and evaluations for design initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to facilitate project advancement.
  • Secure necessary permits and authorizations for construction operations.
  • Emphasize Health & Safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with design teams for seamless project integration.
  • Generate documentation for the construction phase.
  • Maintain client engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise subcontractors involved in site assessments and construction tasks.
  • Utilize Common Data Environments to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Commit to principles of sustainable development.
  • Possess a solid understanding of NEC contractual obligations.
  • Participate in progress reviews and Cost to Complete discussions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in project delivery within the water management sector.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications and City & Guilds certifications.
  • Background in industrial installation projects.
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations.
  • Professional qualifications at HNC/D level.
  • Strong teamwork and communication capabilities.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and seeking support when necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to client service excellence.
