Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team at Fortnum & Mason's Royal Exchange Restaurant and Bar. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the Bar service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Bar Service: Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Bar area.
  • Expertise in Beverages: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our wine cellar, cocktail menu, and specialty beverages, including recommended pairings.
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer experiences, meeting set targets, and consistently deliver exceptional service.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all beverages served, including wine, spirits, and cocktails.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve service excellence and maintain a positive, welcoming environment.

Requirements:

  • Passionate Knowledge: Show genuine and passionate knowledge of the brand, menus, and restaurant service.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continually develop expertise in all beverages served and recommended pairings.
  • Time Management: Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and multitask efficiently to meet service demands.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the ability to lead by example and make rational decisions in dynamic situations.
