About The Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Site Engineers in major engineering control activities
  • Apply engineering principles and techniques to carry out calculations and data analysis
  • Prepare and produce sketches, diagrams, and models to support technical problem solving and design delivery
  • Use digital techniques (such as CAD or BIM) to aid visualisation, communication, measurement, and assessment of works
  • Contribute to the planning, design, programming, and delivery of engineering activities to agreed timescales and budgets
  • Monitor and manage projects and their risks using quality systems and risk assessment procedures
  • Assist with site inspections and surveys, reporting progress against project plans and checking specified technical aspects of site activities
About The Candidate
  • English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above
  • A-Level or BTEC qualification, preferably Engineering or Construction based
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle in order to travel to and from work every day, and between locations if required
