About the Role

As an Assistant Merchandiser at Superdry, you will play a key role in supporting the Merchandiser and Junior Merchandisers in planning product ranges and preparing stock and sales plans to drive business growth. This role involves analysing retail stock and sales data to deliver in-season actions that maximise sales and drive profit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of historical data to support trend analysis and forecasting.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Merchandiser, managing range plans and ensuring timely execution.
  • Update and maintain the WSSI to support stock control and optimise inventory levels.
  • Analyse weekly trade data and propose suitable actions to drive performance and improve sales.
  • Work closely with the Branch Merchandising team to ensure planned ranges are executed effectively in stores.
  • Support and develop the Merchandising Administration Assistants in the department.
Requirements
  • Current experience as an Assistant Merchandiser, ideally in a large fashion retailer.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adept at working with high volumes of data, with excellent numeracy skills.
  • Highly organised with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.
  • Commercially astute with an understanding of customer profile, product range, and competitors.
  • Experienced in leading, developing, and managing others.
  • Based within commuting distance of Cheltenham or willing to relocate.
