Job Title: Production Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Technician to join our team at Vitaflo International Ltd. in Liverpool. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the output requirements of the production plant are met on a weekly basis, on time, in time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with and maintain the required hygiene standards and participate in programs and procedures required
  • Report any non-conformances to the other Technicians, Production Manager, QA/QC personnel and seek advice or take appropriate action when necessary
  • Maintain accurate batch traceability records and any other records required for the production operation
  • Participate in projects that help improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs
  • Participate in plant maintenance program to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas
  • Ensure that HACCP and Food Safety standards are maintained
  • Replenish PPE/Chemicals/Consumables to ensure production area is prepared at all times
  • Perform ATP Hygiene Monitoring to comply with and maintain the required hygiene standards
  • Become a Fire Marshall and First Aider for the area
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a highly regulated Production environment
  • Experience with GMP and Food Hygiene standards
  • Competence with Manufacturing Execution Systems, Microsoft Outlook/Excel/Word
  • Ability to use initiative to problem solve, but know when to escalate
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
